Cinnawin Cream Spice Cake with Foatmeal Cookies

'Tis the season for all things Cinnamon...or Cinnawin, in our case!  This layer cake is as gorgeous as it gets and its as creamy as it is perfectly spiced.

For this recipe, you will need:

2 eat G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Cinnawin Spice Cake Mixes

3 eat G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Cinnawin Cream Frosting Mixes

1 eat G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Foatmeal Cookie Mix

 

DIRECTIONS:

1) Make your layer cakes, baking each layer in an 8" cake pan, following the directions on the back of the Cinnawin Spice Cake & Muffin Mix pouch.  Allow to cool.

2) While your cakes bake, mix up your frosting, following the directions on the back of the Cinnawin Cream Frosting Mix pouch.  Set aside.

3) Next, bake your Foatmeal cookies, as instructed on the back of the Foatmeal Cookie Mix pouch.  Allow to cool.

4) Assemble your cake!  Lay the first layer of cake on a flat surface and spread 1/8-1/4 inch layer of frosting atop.  Then, stack the second layer of cake on top.  Frost the sides and the top of the cake as you wish.

5) Slice your Foatmeal Cookies and position the half coins between swirls of frosting as shown in the picture and sprinkle cake with cinnamon if desired.  

6) Slice cake and enjoy as is or top with your favorite "nice" cream!
